Isthmus of Corinth
The Isthmus of Corinth is a narrow strip of land that unites Central Greece with the Peloponnese. The canal, after eleven years of work and completion in 1893, continued to unite the Saronic Gulf with the Corinthian bay and greatly facilitate the work of both commercial and sailing ships.

Notable are the Archaeological site, the Archaeological Museum, the Apollo Archaeological Temple and the Acrocorinth Castle.
