The canal of Corinth


The Isthmus of Corinth is a narrow strip of land that unites Central Greece with Peloponnese. The canal's construction began at 1882 and finished after eleven years in 1893, uniting Saronic and Argolic gulf,




The Kingdom of king Agamemnon.
It is considered to be the most important and richest castle of the late copper period in Greece. The construction of the palaces began at 1350 BC. and the barricade of the Acropolis of Mycenae began.
The most famous era of Mycenae's history dates back to 1600 BC. until 1110 BC. about.
Within the Archaeological site, there is the Archaeological Museum of Mycenae, and other monuments, which attract the attention of visitors, such as  the Tomb of Agamemnon, the Tomb of Clytemnestra, the Tomb of the Lions, the Aegisthus etc.




It was the first capital of the Greek state from 1829 to 1834.

The imposing castle of Palamidi, with its magnificent views, picturesque narrow streets, paved streets with traditional taverns combined with the history of the city of Nafplion, make up this unique beauty puzzler.




Epidaurus is built on the eastern side of the prefecture of Argolis.
It became world famous for the historical and cultural monuments built there thousands of years ago.
According to Hesiod, it was the birthplace of Asklepius (God of Medicine). In the area of Epidaurus was built the Asklepieion hospital, which has evolved to be as one of the most famous places that people, from all over Greece with serious diseases went to be cured.
The most important and beautiful site, as well as  one of the best preserved ancient theaters with unique acoustics, with a capacity of 14,000 spectators, is "The ancient Theater of Epidavrus", that has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
